1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using The Letter You Never Wrote ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. You must be at least 18 years old, or have parental or guardian consent, to use the Service.
2. Description of Service
The Letter You Never Wrote is an AI-powered love letter generation service. You answer a short questionnaire about your relationship, select a writing style, and receive a personalized letter along with a digital gift package. Letters are delivered through a unique shareable link that you can send to your recipient.
3. Payment and Refunds
The Service requires a one-time payment of $4.99, processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your payment card details. Once your letter has been generated and delivered, refunds are not available because the digital product has been fully provided. If letter generation fails for a technical reason, we will either re-generate your letter or issue a full refund.
4. Your Content
You retain full ownership of the personal information you provide, including names, memories, and questionnaire answers. By submitting this information, you grant us a limited license to process it solely for the purpose of generating your letter and gift package. We do not use your content to train AI models, and we do not sell or share your personal stories with third parties for marketing purposes.
5. AI-Generated Content
Letters are generated using artificial intelligence. While we work to produce high-quality, meaningful output, we cannot guarantee that every letter will be free from errors or will perfectly capture your intent. We encourage you to review your letter before sharing it. You own the generated letter and may use it however you wish.
6. Recipient Experience
When you share a letter link, you consent to the recipient viewing the full letter content. The recipient may also be offered the option to write a response back to you. You are responsible for sharing the link only with your intended recipient.
7. Prohibited Use
You may not use the Service to create content that is harassing, threatening, abusive, or otherwise harmful. You may not attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or abuse the Service. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who violates these terms.
8. Intellectual Property
The Letter You Never Wrote brand, design, and underlying technology are our property. The letter content generated specifically for you belongs to you.
9. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for emotional outcomes, misinterpretation of letter content, or service interruptions. Our maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
